Inside the World of Moklani
Short Synopsis
Moklani is an intimate, observational journey into a vanishing world. As Manchar Lake becomes increasingly unlivable, families are forced to confront an unthinkable reality: to leave the water is to survive, but also to lose who they are. Through everyday moments of resilience, grief, and quiet defiance, the film captures a community standing at the edge of erasure.
This is not just migration. It is the unmaking of identity.
